a)	At approximately the 250m THE GHOST (K Matsunyane) which rolled in, had to steady to avoid the heels of SILVER SAVAGE (S Moodley).
b)	At approximately the 200m LIONS EYE (T Godden) clipped the heels of SUPER FAST (M Thackeray) which rolled outwards.
c)	At approximately the 150m MASTERBLING (S Hlengwa) was carried out marginally by MAR DEL PLATA (J Jacobs) which shifted out away from the crop.
d)	In the concluding stages Jockey R A Venniker (ULTRA QUICK) accidentally dropped her crop.
e)	In view of the performances of STANLEY PARK (S Sosibo) (14.95 lengths, 33/1 in the betting) and LIONS EYE (T Godden) (8.05 lengths, 10/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
