EN ROUTE TO THE START, SHELDON (J GREYLING) PULLED ITS LEFT FRONT SHOE. THE COURSE FARRIER WAS UNABLE TO REPLACE THE SHOE AND, AFTER CONSULTATION WITH TRAINER J J VAN VUUREN, THIS GELDING WAS SCRATCHED. THIS CAUSED A DELAY TO THE START OF THIS RACE. THE STARTER HAD NO REPORTS THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey P Mxoli reported that he felt something amiss with YAMADORI in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. b) READY TO CHARGE (P Strydom), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee A Mdiyana , acting on behalf of Trainers M/A Azzie, was advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: None.
