THAYER refused to load. The starting stalls certificate for this gelding was withdrawn. In view of the Starter's report with regard to THAYER, this gelding was suspended for a period of 30 days and until such time as it proves tractable loading into the starting stalls with a companion. Suspension dates: 22 January 2019 to 20 February 2019. THAYER may not be presented for repassing during this period. Jockey Wes Marwing reported that he felt something amiss with ROQUEBRUNE in running. Jockey Storey reported that PHIL'S POWER did not stride out freely in running. Jockey Yeni, the rider of NOTACADEMICATALL, accidentally cropped his crop at the 350m. At approximately the 200m ICARUS FLIGHT which shifted out away from the crop, and PHIL'S POWER which shifted in away from the crop, came together and brushed. TOP SALUTE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: ROQUEBRUNE and PHIL'S POWER - not striding out right front. Scratched: THAYER - refused to load.
